Photography and Proofs:
Basic photography (engagement photos and wedding day) with electronic proofs: $1,200.
Other options: coverage of rehearsal dinner, bridal preparations, second photographer for candids, let's talk.
Deposit: 50% to reserve a date.
Electronic proofs: included
Printed Proofs: $150 / setAbout your Proofs: Electronic proofs will be viewable on CD's of low-resolution images. Printed proofs will consist of notebook-bound and plastic-protected 8.5x11 "contact sheets" containing 12 photos per page. You can mark these up to indicate your selections, sizes, and numbers of prints. If you'd rather not sit at a computer and go over the take, opt for printed proofs. A "set" is as many contact sheets as are required to show all your proofs. Multiple sets might be useful if you want to invite out of town relatives or friends to select images, too.
You get 400-600 finished images, starting (if you wish, for example, let's just say) with the arrival or preparation of the bridal party and ending with the reception. We can also do the rehearsal dinner and bridal preparations (hair, dressing, fittings, etc...). Images will be full-sized and ready to print. They'll be delivered on CD's or DVD.
Printing and albums are up to you.
If you want my involvement with prints, I'll be happy to help. Mark up the proofs or specify filenames from the CD, and I'll have one of the labs I work with print your selections for you at decent rates. But you'll have high-res images on CD and can print them anywhere you like.
Albums? If you need some album options, let me know and I'll find some good prices. (I'm a photographer, not an album salesman. You'd be amazed what the markup usually is on albums.)
And if you need to save some money. I'll shoot your wedding for 50% and then finish the images whenever you're ready to complete the package.
Let's try it that way for a while and see how it goes.
This is the point at which I want to say, I don't do weddings! Except that when I do, they're usually fun.
