eclipsed moon rising over desert hills from Borrego Springs,
California. Note Mars above the Moon. Street lighting of Borrego
Springs illuminates the foreground.
Meanwhile, Comet Hale-Bopp was still above the western horizon, shining
brightly in the eclipse darkened sky.
