Hale-Bopp from US23 in Sam's Gap near the Tennessee/North Carolina line. The stars are trailed because I guided on the nucleus of the comet, which on March 26-27 was moving about one degree every five hours. The colors are real! (12 minutes, 5-inch F6 AP refractor at F4.5, off-the-shelf Fuji HG-400.)

    55mm lens.
