GPS TRACKS and Assorted Notes

The pages collected here are summaries and examinations of various comings and goings out and about in the world.

So far, they're all kayaking trips on Lake Rhodhiss, a long, narrow impoundment of the Catawba River in the North Carolina foothills with some interesting nooks and coves. Who knows what they may eventually include.

Some of these trips are all about making photos; others are about collecting data to discover whether new paddling techniques and modifications to the boat are improvements or merely changes. Some are nothing more than exercise logs: tables of numbers describing how many miles I paddled how fast and where I went.

We're just getting started.
